PLOT
Darkwing Duck follows the adventures of the titular superhero, Darkwing Duck, who is also known as Drake Mallard in his secret identity. He lives a dual life: as a superhero fighting crime in the city of St. Canard and as a devoted father to his adopted daughter, Gosalyn. He is assisted by his sidekick and pilot, Launchpad McQuack, who is also a character from DuckTales. Darkwing Duck's life is complicated by his own egotistical craving for fame and attention, which often conflicts with his genuine desire to be a good father and hero. His struggles between these two sides of his personality provide the main drama of the show, though his better nature typically shines through in the end.
